Competitions

Competitions are a great way for skaters to showcase all the skills they have worked on. The BVFSC hosts an annual competition, Spirit of the Brazos Invitational. This competition is a great first competition for for new skaters. Skaters may compete in many different events such as Freeskate, Artistic, Dance, and more!

There are many other competitions that happen around Texas and the United States.

Test Sessions

Test sessions are for skaters to advance in their skating discipline. It is very beneficial for skaters to work at improving their skills so they may advance to higher levels.

BVFSC hosts 3-5 test sessions a year. Be sure to check the upcoming events section for any Test Sessions!

Club Ice & Events

One of the many benefits of being a member of the BVFSC is Club Ice. This session is provided to members of the club free of charge. Skaters may choose to practice or to have fun during Club Ice sessions. It is a great way to meet other members of the club.

There any many other events that the club hosts that are not at the ice rink. Fundraiser events are a great way to help keep the club running and sponsoring test sessions and other fun events for the members.

Spirit Ice Arena Events

The host rink, Spirit Ice Arena, has many events of their own. Exhibitions are a great way to showcase the skaters skills without the pressure of judges. The Spring and Christmas Shows are fun to be a part of for skaters and audience members alike. Be sure to keep up with any events in the upcoming events section and also at www.spiriticearena.com
